Our Recruitment Process

We aim to make our recruitment process clear, supportive and professional from the very beginning.

Initial Conversation

The process usually begins with an informal phone or Teams conversation to discuss your experience, interests and what you are looking for.

Interview Process

We may ask questions about your clinical experience, approach to service delivery, assessment or therapeutic work, remote working and caseload management.

Guidance & Preparation

We provide information and guidance throughout the process so you understand what to expect and feel supported at every stage.

Registration & Compliance

Successful applicants complete onboarding paperwork and provide professional evidence including qualifications, registrations, insurance and references.

Induction & Systems Access

Once onboarding is complete, associates receive induction support and access to Lycali systems, resources and processes.

Supervision & Quality Assurance

Associates are supported through clinical governance processes including supervision, CPD expectations and quality assurance.

Quality Comes Before Speed

Our onboarding process can take several weeks because we believe safe recruitment matters. No associate is allocated Lycali work until onboarding and compliance requirements have been completed. This helps ensure high standards across all services we provide.

Inclusive Recruitment & Accessibility

Lycali is committed to being an inclusive employer and we want our recruitment process to feel accessible, supportive and respectful.

Diversity & Inclusion

We value diversity in backgrounds, experiences, perspectives and ways of thinking. We believe this strengthens both our team and the support we provide.

We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where professionals feel respected, supported and able to thrive.

Accessibility Support

  • Additional time during interviews or tasks
  • Flexibility around interview formats where appropriate
